The echo/2XP restores worn squash balls that skid and bounce erratically to "like new" conditions allowing for consistent play. As any competitive and recreational squash player knows, over time the surface of a new squash ball accumulates dirt and dust resulting in a slick surface. Once this happens the ball tends to skid off the walls and floor of the squash court. Eventually the ball becomes too worn for use and a new ball has to be opened. Old balls are discarded and not recycled. The echo/2XP was designed to extend the life of a new squash ball while maintaining the "True Bounce" characteristics of a new squash ball. Reducing and Reusing the amount of natural rubber used in squash was at the core of the design of the echo/2XP.
